It was December 1996 when my 18-year-old sister, Zorana Rinaldi, died in a car crash. I was only 7 at the time. Amid grieving, our dad set out to document her life in hopes of sharing her story with the world.

Not much came of it.

Over 20 years later, as I’m sorting through my dad’s tapes and interviews, I discover that my grieving isn’t over. And I too have a story to share.

This is not your typical story about pain, death, and loss.

This is a story about family, hope, and dreams.
